After deciding on a color, I went back for the paint. Come to find out, the one I chose was displayed on one of their walls. I didn't like the looks of it, so chose a lighter color named Macadamia. Then I came home and started painting, and painting, and painting.
A couple days later, with sore back and muscles, I was very happy with the results. Gone was the Pistachio green color, replaced by the new Macadamia brown color. NOTE: I must love colors that have food names.
And now, to make Tawnya (Miss Osha) happy - here is a picture of the kid-friendly, no sharp corners, soft top foot stool/coffee table for our living room. If kids run into it, they should just bounce right off - no bleeding or stitches required!

I would come sit a spell with you today of I could! Looks great! Can't wait to test out that new conversation room in July!
Tawnya must be freaking out about my sharp cornered, glass tables in the living room...oh well. Your office looks nice.
Thank you mom, on behalf of the children that enter your home. We all appreciate this! I really feel like the house is coming along great! Keep up the great work.
Looks great Fran! We have a very similar ottoman in our living room...although I just really liked the look of it...the fact that it's kid friendly is just an added bonus!
Angie - your ottoman is what really inspired me to look for such a footstool. I love it!
